Even though there are cameras installed in the parking garages, theft is a regular occurrance, perhaps a result of the trailer court across the street, perhaps not. Yes, Autumn Woods is a deadzone and dropped calls are a regular occurance. The exercise room consists of a broken treadmill machine, a stationary bike, and a weight center that gets thunderously dropped more times a day by toddlers than tenant cell phone calls. There is a sauna, although all it's good for is catching a cold from your neighbor who just got back from visiting relatives overseas. The whirlpool is condemned and has sat without water for a year. The waterfall, although a nice visual element, loses appeal when an unmaintained motor grinds loudly through the night. The ducks also provide an obnoxiously unwelcome alarm clock early every morning, until they fly South for the winter when the pond finally freezes over. The sidewalks are pasted with duck shit when they're not covered with snow or ice. The pool is only open from Memorial Day "(actually 2 weeks later this past summer) through Labor Day, not a moment longer, regardless of the warm sunny weather well after chosen date and during those months that the pool is open, it's a shot in the dark whether or not it's clean enough to swim in. Most tenants I've spoken with struggle to find comfort in their tenancy at Autumn Woods. A peaceful community is a long shot from how I would describe Autumn Woods. Whether they neglect to inform you about early morning construction or how often in the span of a month that your apartment will be entered and rentered by installation servicemen. and issues do arise on a fairly regular basis. Be prepared to butt heads with management anytime an issue arises. They are not elegant OR affordable as the website discloses. While its website boasts a variety of amenities and ancient awards, the management and owners of Autumn Woods (Lang-Nelson) are failing to maintain. The Autumn Woods apartments in Saint Anthony Village, MN are over priced and under maintained.
